We are thrilled to announce that longtime Westmeath Minotaur Bill Dougherty has been selected by the Federation of Irish Sport as their 2025 winner for Westmeath Sports Volunteer of the Year!
Bill has been an instrumental part of both the Minotaurs and American Football Ireland associations, and we are so proud to see his continuous hard work recognised.
Bill has also been nominated as a candidate for National Sports Volunteer of the Year — so this February 26th keep your fingers (and horns!) crossed for one of our community’s most vital volunteers!
