Senior Adult Kitted American Football

This is full contact, fully kitted, senior 11 on 11 American Football. As part of American Football Ireland’s 22 fully kitted clubs. The Westmeath Minotaurs offers athletes a unique opportunity to play one of the greatest team sports. 

If you’re just starting out and want to give it go, the club can provide you equipment and expert coaching to bring you up to speed quickly. 

Experience is not required. All body shapes and sizes are required in this multi-dimensional game. We will help you find a way to contribute to the success of the team.

The minimum age is 18. We have players that started in their late 30s and players competing into their mid 40s. So its never to late or early to give the sport a try. 

Training is on Sunday from 1000 – 1200 at the Mullingar Rugby Football Club and generally begins early January. Competitive games commence in mid March and also occur on Sunday afternoons.
