The regular season comes to end for the Minotaurs Flag season; the playoffs await for the Premier Division team, while the Division 1 team has much to improve on for 2027.
The Premier team went 1-1 on the day in Dodder Valley, defeating the South Dublin Panthers 31-21 and falling to the Dunboyne Wildcats, 7-35. This means the Minotaurs finish at 8-2 on the year, good for 2nd in Premier South/Central. Their opponent in the Wild Card Round will be the South Dublin Panthers, who finished 3rd in Premier South/Central. The playoff blitz is scheduled for October 17 at the National Sports Campus.
The Division 1 team dropped their final 2 games in a disappointing day, losing 7-46 to Panthers 2nds and 12-40 to the Edenderry Eagles. This leaves them at 3-7 on the season, good for 6th in Division 1 South/Central. A promising start derailed by a 5 game losing streak to end the season, the Division 1 team gained a lot of valuable experience going into 2027.
