Flag American Football

Flag American football is a 5 on 5, non-contact version of American football, similar to Tag Rugby. The Westmeath Minotaurs offers athletes a unique opportunity to play one of the fastest growing (and newly introduced to the Olympics) team sports. 

If you’re just starting out and want to give it go, the club can provide you equipment and expert coaching to bring you up to speed quickly. 

Experience is not required. All body shapes and sizes have a spot on the team. We will help you find a way to contribute to the success of the team.

The minimum age is 16. We have players that started in their late 30s and players competing into their mid 40s. So its never to late or early to give the sport a try. 

Flag football runs from late summer to autumn.
