Coaching Update

February 22, 2026

Due to work commitments HC Eoin Feely has stepped away from on field coaching and has moved to a gameplanning & advisory role within the club.

Bill Dougherty has stepped in to become Head Coach for the 2026 season. Bill’s experience and leadership in the role is well known. And we look forward to a successful season in Division 1!

Message from Eoin Feely:

It is with a heavy heart that I am stepping away from the immediate action, and I’m certainly sad to be moving further from the day to day excitement of the program. However, I couldn’t be more excited to continue my support for the Minotaurs from afar.

I am especially delighted that Coach Bill is stepping into the head coach role. Knowing the team is in his capable hands makes this transition much easier. His leadership is exactly what the Minotaurs need to charge forward, and I’ll be cheering louder than anyone from the sidelines of a different country.

The foundations for a great season are in place and I’m excited to work with the group from a distance as we seek to return to the Shamrock Bowl in 2027!
