The regular season comes to end for the Minotaurs Flag season; the playoffs await for the Premier Division team, while the Division 1 team has much to improve on for 2027.
The Premier team went 1-1 on the day in Dodder Valley, defeating the South Dublin Panthers 31-21 and falling to the Dunboyne Wildcats, 7-35. This means the Minotaurs finish at 8-2 on the year, good for 2nd in Premier South/Central. Their opponent in the Wild Card Round will be the Craigavon Cowboys, who finished 3rd in Premier North. The playoff blitz is scheduled for October 17 at the National Sports Campus.
The Division 1 team dropped their final 2 games in a disappointing day, losing 7-46 to Panthers 2nds and 12-40 to the Edenderry Eagles. This leaves them at 3-7 on the season, good for 6th in Division 1 South/Central. A promising start derailed by a 5 game losing streak to end the season, the Division 1 team gained a lot of valuable experience going into 2027.
